On Sunday May 1, 2022, a delegation including about 40 participants, including the Minister of Research of Lower Saxony, Bj\u00f6rn Th\u00fcmler, the state secretary in his ministry, Sabine Johannsen, several presidents \/ vice presidents of Lower Saxony universities, and heads of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research centers \u2013 Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Nejdl, Prof. Dr. med. Dr.-Ing. Michael Marschollek, founders of the Leibniz AI Lab<\/a>, and others.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n During that visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Lower Saxony AI research centers and the University of Haifa\u2019s Data Science Research Center<\/a> will be signed by the Minister of Research and our University\u2019s President, Prof. Ron Robin.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The collaboration will allow to promote excellence-oriented international research cooperation more strongly, to increase the transfer of knowledge and technology, and to establish sustainable international knowledge and innovation networks.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
